SETA ACCREDITATION
The Planet Nails Training Academy started in April
2005. Our goal is to provide students
with an above average course to enable
them to compete successfully from day 1
in the nail industry.
Planet Nails has embarked on a road of
professionalism aimed at elevating the
standard of
services and products related to
our industry. This activity is an identified
strategic objective
of our organization and
will be launched in the following manner:

We
intend re-investing in the industry by
sponsoring the nail competition and
embarking on other projects aimed at
empowering women, specifically those in
disadvantaged areas.

| 2. | We are going to provide accredited outcomes based education and training that will allow students trained by Planet Nails to achieve credits towards a qualification on the National Learners Record Database which is administrated by SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority). This will be achieved through our initiatives to achieve accreditation with the Services SETA. |
SERVICES SETA ACCREDITATION
| Planet Nails has acquired the services of BSD (Pty) Ltd to aid us in this aspect. They are training all our Facilitators of learning who will be trained, as facilitators and assessors, towards nationally registered unit standards of competence. Monja and Daniela have already gone through this training and have also been trained as moderators. Once this has been completed we will register all Planet Nails facilitators with the Services SETA, as part of our application for accreditation, as national assessors for these unit standards. The process of accreditation is a tedious one but the end results we believe will be well worth it. |
